MY STORY
The old path
I have done many things and been many others.
In the last 12 years, I have made some of the most accurate superhero replicas out there, creating costumes for TV shows, cinema and ads. I wasn’t alone of course; a few guys helped along the way in what was called Pannaus Studio.
But although things were just fine, something didn’t feel right. I was never completely satisfied with making stuff for others, yet again copying others’ work. I wanted to feel totally free to express my ideas, however ugly they might be at times.
I needed to change something.
A new beginning
That’s where Pannaus Designs steps in: a laboratory of ideas where fun merges with functionality. Each item is designed for those who are not satisfied with the ordinary, but seek that extra touch of magic. Whether it’s home decorations that transport you to another dimension, or personal accessories that express a passion for the nerd world, my promise is to make every day an adventure.
The truth?
I have ideas, lots of them. I’ve always had a ton of them. But I felt somewhat held back by my limited ability to turn them into something real. I needed people, whom I really couldn’t afford to pay. Then, in 2023, AI came flooding into our lives and mine changed.
I finally had the chance to swing the gates open and let my weird ideas flow freely. ChatGPT, MidJourney and other software finally gave me the chance to create and feel free.
The process
I think about something, and if I believe it has a chance to be a good product, I turn to chatGPT and feed it the raw idea, asking it to polish it. Once this is done, I move to the design phase. I swtich a lot between MidJourney and DALL-E as they have very different capabilities. Once images are ready, I personally take care of the final touches using Adobe Creative Suit (mainly Photoshop).
Once all of this is done, I turn the design into a real product using printify as my main printing partner.
So now you know the whole story. I don’t know if you’re going to buy anything. If you don’t, that’s ok. I’ll still wave at you from my cardboard house under some cold bridge here in Rome.
